We took the boys to the Minnesota Zoo while we were on vacation. It was interesting to see a zoo in a different climate because many of the animals were different. They didn't have lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, rhinos, hippos or gorillas, but they did have things like dolphins, sharks, wolverines, wolves, leopards, caribou, and moose! It was nice to see some different animals for change! Luke, as always, enjoyed seeing all of the animals. We were on a specific mission to find a tiger and a cow (of course) and thankfully, we were able to find them!! I would say that Luke's favorite part of the zoo was the farm section. He actually went in goat pen and happily brushed ALL of the goats!! I was so proud of him. This zoo also had a large playground area and a splash pad to get wet. Luke really wanted to splash, but we weren't prepared to have a wet kiddo (not to mention it was probably only 73 degrees outside). Benjamin's favorite part of the zoo were the fish. He liked looking at them through the glass (or maybe he just liked being out of the stroller). Overall, I would say we had a great day at the zoo and I would recommend a visit if you are ever in the area.
