New Year's Day

We spent New Year's Day morning at Sarah's house before we headed back home.  My boys spent their morning playing and making sure they touched all of Jack's toys.  I intentionally packed their matching jammies hoping that Jacks would be clean.  I can't resist 3 little boys in matching jammies!!!  Does Luke looks sick in these pictures to you??  Little did we know he was brewing a stomach bug and would puke in the car on the way home :(

New Year's Eve

We went down to Houston to celebrate NYE with Sarah, John, and Jack.  It was the first time we made the trip since Jack had turned 1 -- so we were definitely due for a visit.  Once evening came we spent the night out in the driveway with some of their neighbors eating s'mores and lighting sparklers.  Luke had a blast playing with a little boy his age and he actually stayed outside until a little after 10pm -- yes, 10pm!  That is practically staying out all night for our little guy!! The little boys couldn't last that long so we took them in and let them play for a bit in the bath.  We had a great time ringing in the New Year (well close to ringing it in) with the Jambers!

Christmas with GiGi

It is February 1st and I am still blogging about Christmas....

This year we did our Christmas at Mom's house the day after Christmas.  We met up in the early afternoon for dinner and presents.  I am so thankful to be surrounded by my family (with Sarah only a shortish drive away).  I love that the boys are so close to their cousins and that our lives are woven together perfectly.  This past year was the hardest year of my life, but it was made easier knowing that we were all in it together.  So why the presents were a nice perk, I am just thankful to have such a loving family to call my own.
