Grandma Blum's friends, the Strates, have a dairy and corn farm . They were so nice and allowed us to come over for an impromptu visit. This was the perfect activity for Luke because he LOVES cows. When we got there we met Ms. Marge, Mr. Arlen, and Mr. Johnathan (mom, son, and grandson) who keep the farm alive! They told us all bout the cows and how the place worked, then they let us see all of the animals! They have tons of dairy cows/calves, a rabbit, a cat (Whiskers), a dog (Nellie), and a sheep (Ella) who thinks she is a dog! In addition to the animals they have tractors!!! Luke loves John Deer tractors and Mr. Johnathan let him get up in one and check it out. The next thing I knew Luke was in the buddy seat and driving around the farm with his new found friend! Before we left Andy was able to drive the little ranger around with Luke and even the dog, Nellie, went along for the ride. We had such a great time at Rusmar Farm and we are so thankful they allowed us to visit. Thank you Grandma Blum for arranging this for us and thank you Strates for taking the time to make my little boy's day!!
