Obviously our trip started and ended with plane rides (a total of 4). I had a little bit of anxiety about traveling with 2 young ones, especially considering they were both diagnosed with STREP THROAT on Friday, boo. We were able to get a few doses of medicine in them and they were fever free the morning of our trip -- praise the Lord! I cannot brag enough about how well my boys did!! They acted like young pros. They didn't fit, whine or cry AT ALL!! I bought Luke some new reusable stickers and puzzles (which were a huge hit) and we didn't even have to get out the iPad until the very last leg of our flight home! Benjamin didn't seem to be phased either. He was content snacking, playing or sleeping -- again, a huge blessing. I won't lie though, traveling with 2 kiddos is hard stuff!! We were so ready be home once we landed in Dallas. Oh, and a quick shout out to luggage carts -- we couldn't have done it without them!
One quick story about Luke on the plane....
This kid is a ham! Of course he was his usual talkative self in the airport -- asking EVERYONE their name and how they were doing. When we boarded the plane Luke used it as an opportunity to wave to his fans! He treated the aisle as his parade route and he waved to all the people there to see him! It was the cutest thing. On our way there we had a lay over in St. Louis, but did not have to get off the plane. While the passengers were deboarding he stood up in his chair and bid them farewell with a smile, wave, and a loud "goodbye people." He is the CUTEST THING EVER!!
