Big Boy!

Luke is getting to be such a big boy.  Andy took him for his 5th hair cut on Mother's day which really turned him into a little boy.  Mom has been asking us to spike his hair now that it is shorter so we did just that one Sunday morning before church.  Here are your pics mom :)

Friends and the Park

The last weekend in April the Miller family (Matt, Jamie, Baylee & Rylee) and the Cottreau's (Jessica & Sid) came to visit us for the weekend.  We really enjoyed having them around.  I think Jessica may have been overwhelmed by all the kiddos, but I am thinking she had some fun too!  On Saturday afternoon we loaded the kids (and Sid!) up and walked down to the park for some fun.  They were so cute swinging and sliding.  Luke hasn't really been too fond of the slide in the past, but as soon as he saw how much fun Rylee was having he was sold.  Thanks guys for coming to visit!!!!

Easter 2011

We spent  Easter at Nana's house with family.  I wasn't feeling well so we had to head home early, but we enjoyed all of the time we were able to spend with the ones we love.  Luke was able to participate in his second Easter egg hunt of the weekend, too.  He collected books, balls, eggs and more.  While Easter egg hunts are fun, we are teaching Luke that Easter is about more than eggs and bunnies.  We are teaching him about our Savior, Jesus Christ, and his sacrifice for us.

Colin is One!

Colin turned one last month and we were able to be a part of the festivities!  We are so thankful to have Matt, Brittany, and Colin in our lives.  We are blessed to have them as our friends and I hope that Luke and Colin remain the best of friends.

Easter Egg Hunt

The day before Easter the church we have been visiting had an Easter egg hunt for the kiddos. Makayla spent the night with Mom so she met us up there for some Saturday morning fun. Luke was all decked out in his camo gear.....isn't he a cutie?

They had all of the hunts divided into age groups.  Luke was in the 2-3 year old group....I am guessing not many 1 year olds hunt eggs??? We were fortunate enough to find a really great spot for Luke to hunt his first Easter eggs.  It was right by the light post.  When the official "go" was given all of the kids ran and Luke was able to hunt the 4 eggs right there in the corner.......he was content with his new "baws" (balls)!

They also had a small petting zoo at the church.  Luke would not put down his "baws" to pet any animals!

Makayla was able to get a butterfly painted on her cheek -- isn't she getting big?

The last thing we did was play on the playground before we left.  Luke LOVED the little house.  He enjoyed opening and shutting the door/window and ringing the door bell!  I think he was trying to figure out how he could build one in our backyard!

San Antonio

Last month I had to go to San Antonio for work and I was lucky enough to have Andy and Luke join me for the weekend.  Unfortunately it was right in the middle of a 2 week illness that I had so we mostly just hung out at the hotel.  Luke didn't seem to mind though.  He loved walking around the hotel and being outside!
