Cell Phone Dump

Life has been pretty hectic since my dad has been sick.  I realized that I have taken very few pictures with my actual camera and seemed to have only captured the small moments on my cell phone.  Here is my cell phone dump....

Legoland

Recently we decided to enjoy a family Saturday -- just the 4 of us.  Dad was still in the hospital so I visited early in the morning and then headed off for a day with my boys.  We started the day off at the donut shop.  We very rarely get donuts (in fact I think only once before) so this was an extra special treat for Luke.  After donuts we headed over to Legoland at Grapevine Mills Mall.  We originally had planned on the aquarium, but as soon as Luke found out that Legoland existed he was sold!  Legoland was interesting for sure.  I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't exactly what I expected if that makes sense.  Luke was too short for most of the rides, but that didn't stop him from having fun.  He especially enjoyed racing his lego truck that he made.  Ben had a good time climbing on everything and going down the slide.  I think his most favorite thing was singing karaoke on the microphone!!  This was in the princess area, but he didn't seem to care!  Overall we had a great day!  We will definitely go back once Ben is older.

Urban Air

Last month on one of my days off I was able to take the boys to meet up with Caleb and Kelly at Urban Air.  I had heard great things about this place and we were not disappointed!!  It is a huge place full of trampolines.  We went during toddler time so the boys had full run of the place.  Luke REALLY, REALLY loved jumping into the foam pit and Ben pretty much just liked the freedom of running around.  Luke has been asking me to take him back over and over again.  Since toddler time is only on Wednesdays and Fridays it is hard for me to take off and go.  I have promised him we will go back again soon.  I know he will hold me to it!!

Happy Birthday Jack

We went down to Houston in early February to celebrate Jack's first birthday.  He had a construction themed birthday party with a toddler bounce house -- which the boys LOVED!!  After the party we spent the evening outside bouncing and blowing bubbles.  We were only able to stay for one night, but we loved every minute of it.  Thanks Sarah and John for having us!!
