Our Weekend at the Lake -- Part III

We managed to get out of the house Saturday evening while we were at the lake house.  We went to a family fun center that had go karts, rides, and games for the kids.  Jack seemed to enjoy the go karts, Benji liked the play place, and Luke and Makayla loved the bumper cars.  After our fun and cashing in our tickets we headed over to a local restaurant for some good food.  It ended up being a great night out and the kids had a blast which was a win for all!!

Our Weekend at the Lake -- Part II

The second day at the lake started out early on the dock in our jammies.  The kids loved being out on the dock and the mommies secretly cringed.  Sarah, who hates fish with all of her being, was fishing with Jack when she actually caught a fish!  I wish I would have had a video because she freaked right on out! Most of the day was spent lounging around and watching the kids play outside.  We did manage to get out for the evening (see part III) and then came home for s'mores!  What a great day!

Our Weekend at the Lake - Part I

Back in April we spent a family weekend at the lake with my brother, sister and mom (and families of course).  We rented a lake house and spent the weekend together remembering Dad. It was a great time of hanging out and leaving technology and the city life behind for a few days.  The kids had a great time playing with each other and I enjoyed being with those that I love the most.  There are a ton of photos so I am dividing it up over several posts.

The house had a great porch and back yard that the kids could play on/in safely away from the water.  We brought bikes and they had a great time.

Day out with Thomas 2014

If you know anything about the Cloud boys, then you know that they love Thomas the Train.  Back in March Thomas happened to be in Grapevine so we took the boys for a day of fun.  We did this once when Luke was 2 so it seemed appropriate to do it again, but with Benji in tow.  We had a great time riding the train and participating in the fun activities.  We look forward to doing this again in the future with the rest of our growing family.
