April Photo Dump

I am thinking that I am going to make the photo dump a regular thing around here.  I find that I am taking more and more photos on my phone and I want to make sure they are cataloged for the boys.  So here is April....

Clowning Around

After going to Build-a-Bear we headed over to the Johansen's for Colin's 3rd birthday party!  I didn't take many pictures, but I did manage to get a couple of the boys in with their clown noses on!  Baby Wyatt even got in on the action - so cute.

Build-A-Bear

Luke got a gift card from the Usserys to Build a Bear for his birthday and we finally took him to use it last weekend.  Luke loves stuffed animals so this place was perfect for him.  After looking at all of his choices he finally settled on the monkey.  He stuffed him, picked out his heart, gave him a bath, and found the perfect clothes.  He even came up with the name on his own......Bananas!  So cute.  Benji also got to build a bear, too.  He was so cute doing everything he saw his big brother do.  His bear is named Sammy and he has no clothes :(  After building the new friends we let the boys take a ride on the carousel at the mall.  It was a fun morning!  Thank you Sarah, Josh and baby Wyatt!

Easter 2013

This year we celebrated Easter with my family out at my cousin Justin's house.  Luke loves going out there because they have a big trampoline and cousins to play with.  He has been talking about going back to Justin's a lot lately.  I am pretty sure he has his eye on the pool ;) 

Easter egg hunts are fun and spending time with family is great, but knowing that Jesus died and rose again as promised is  PRICELESS :)

Easter Eggs

This year was the first year we decided to dye Easter eggs.  Luke is still a little young to really get into it so we stuck to just dying the eggs different colors.  He enjoyed taking the eggs in and out of the dye and while he waited for the color to set in he got to watch a movie -- double bonus!

Easter Egg Hunt

We took the boys over to a local church's annual Easter egg hunt the Saturday before Easter.  We had been once before and figured the boys would have fun hunting some eggs.  Luke actually had some practice earlier in the week at school so he was really excited to get the hunt started.  He was so cute running as fast as he could around the egg yard.  He ran past tons of eggs and every now and then he would actually stop and pick one up.  Since I chased Luke around with the camera I didn't get any shots of Benji hunting, but he just had fun being outside -- the eggs were just a bonus!  In addition to the hunt they had face painting, a petting zoo, and some bounce houses and slides.  Luke was extra brave this year and actually went down the slide and jumped in the bounce houses!  I was so proud of him.  Its like when he turned 3 years old he just got more brave.....I love it!
