Jack's 2nd Birthday Party

I know this happened months ago, but it is my goal to catch up!!

Back in FEBRUARY we went to Houston to celebrate Jack's 2nd Birthday.  Like Benjamin, Jack loves Mickey Mouse and wanted a MM birthday party, too.  The party was at my sister's house with family and friends.  The kids enjoyed playing party games and jumping in Jack's bounce house.  I am thankful that even though we live 4 hours apart we get to share special moments like birthdays together!

Turns out January wasn't a high volume picture taking month.  I must have been recovering from December ;)

 

Benji was sick and had to go to the doctor.  This is him hamming it up while waiting on the results of his flu screen.  Thankfully no flu!

Benji's ABCs

One afternoon Ben grabbed leapfrog alphabet magnet off the refrigerator and just started singing.  I want to remember him like this forever!

 



Mommy & Luke Date

Back in January Luke and I went on a date.  We started the evening off at the toy store to buy a toy for a friend's birthday.  While we were there we also did some window shopping for birthday ideas.  After the toy store Luke wanted to go to his favorite place to eat -- 3 Parrot Taco.  He loves their quesadillas! Last, we finished off the night at Braum's for an ice cream cone. -- Luke chose peppermint, which is Daddy's favorite!  I really enjoyed spending this one on one time with Luke.  It was something that we both needed.

New Year's Day

We spent New Year's Day morning at Sarah's house before we headed back home.  My boys spent their morning playing and making sure they touched all of Jack's toys.  I intentionally packed their matching jammies hoping that Jacks would be clean.  I can't resist 3 little boys in matching jammies!!!  Does Luke looks sick in these pictures to you??  Little did we know he was brewing a stomach bug and would puke in the car on the way home :(
