Happy Birthday Sarah!

I have been the given the greatest gifts in life.  I have a God that loves me unconditionally.  I have a husband, children and family that love me unconditionally.  I have two best friends that love me unconditionally.  It does not get better than that!!

Yesterday we celebrated Sarah's birthday with swimming and dinner.  The boys had a great time playing together and I had a great time visiting with my besties! I am so thankful to have these ladies in my life.  God knew what he was doing when he put us all together at the same pharmacy school 11 years ago!

Happy Birthday America!

Luke was really into "America's Birthday" this year.  He spent all week pointing out American flags (and Texas flags, too) and singing "Happy Birthday to America" (which was always followed by blowing out pretend candles).  The day of the 4th was spent with family -- just the way I like it.  We spent the morning at the hospital visiting Papa and then the afternoon/evening out at Justin's house.  We swam, ate fish and watermelon, and finished the evening off with some firecrackers.  Luke really thought he would want to do a sparkler, but once I lit it he changed his mind.  Turns out it was a little too close for comfort.

Roanoke Rocks!

This was the second year in a row that we we met up with the Reals at Roanoke Rocks to watch fireworks.  We had so much fun last year that I also invited Mom and Makayla to come with us.  Before the show the kids got to jump in the bounce houses, play some games for prizes, make some crafts and we all enjoyed a BBQ dinner.  The boys were able to stay up through the entire show and neither of them were scared of the fireworks.  I mark this event down as a success two years running!  We will definitely go back again next year.
